KEVIN W. GAUGHEN

Kevin Gaughen joined the firm from the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office where he served as the District Attorney in charge of the Brookline Municipal Court. Mr. Gaughen also served in the Cape and Islands District Attorneys Office, serving the Counties of Barnstable, Nantucket and Dukes (Martha’s Vineyard). He is a 1976 graduate of Georgetown University in Washington D.C. , receiving an AB degree and of Suffolk University Law School in 1979 where he received his Juris Doctorate degree.

Kevin Gaughen is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States District Court for Massachusetts, and all Massachusetts Trial Courts.

Mr. Gaughen has been Certified by the Foundation for Continuing Education in the areas of Trust Law and Estate Planning Law

Kevin Gaughen concentrates his practice in Estate Planning and Trust Law as well as all areas of Conveyancing Law. He has served as General Counsel for the East Weymouth Savings Bank and the Hingham Institution for Savings. He has also served as a Director of various statewide professional and civic groups and as an advisor to various charitable organizations. Gaughen was named in 2006 as the honorary Mass. Chairman of the Republican National Congressional Committee (RNCC).

Kevin Gaughen is a member of various professional associations in Massachusetts, including the Massachusetts Association of Bank Counsel, Massachusetts Conveyancers Association, Mass Trial Lawyers Association, Mass Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts.
